Activity book for Latin for Children

There’s a Latin history reader.

Just in case you are like me and aren’t an expert in Latin, there’s also an answer key.

And an option to subscribe to something called Headventure Land, which includes cartoons, games, and other fun activities that are interactive and make your student think they are getting away with something because they are playing computer games during school.

It’s all incredible. We are loving every bit of it. The grammar lessons reinforce English grammar along with teaching Latin concepts. The workbook and activity book are bright and colorful and make Latin fun. The Headventure Land subscription has games, cartoons, and printables. I really can’t imagine any curriculum doing a better job both teaching Latin and giving children a positive attitude about it all at once. I think it is a particularly good program for children planning to enter the Classical Conversations Challenge program.

But it’s also a lot to take in. It’s hard to figure out what to do and when to do it and how long to do it. I ended up sitting down with my son and working out a schedule so that we can fit all of the available resources in the Latin for Children bundle into one week per chapter. It was quite an undertaking! And I’m sharing it here today because if you are anything like me, you felt completely overwhelmed when you unpacked the Latin for Children A bundle and tried to figure out where to begin.

So here it is, a complete checklist of everything available to your student in Latin for Children A! Use it and enjoy it and let me know if it helps you out!
